November 24, 2005 - 4:05 PM On this day of Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for so many things. For God's constantness. He sees me through good times and rough waters. He strengthens me when I am weak, provides me wisdom when I am unsure, protects For my husband Lyle, who stands beside me through daily life whether I'm running or walking or barely moving, he's always right there. For my daughters, Amelia and Amanda. They are both such caring, compassionate and responsible young ladies. They give me so many reasons to be proud. For my parents and sister who are always there for me when I need them, helping me run errands, driving me all over the state, and just being such a great For my many friends who are always there for me, lending an ear, cheering me on, helping with transportation, supporting our mnumerous family ventures, For our friend Jack who just brought us over a load of wood. We have warmth in our home and very special friends in Jack and Frances. For the stuffed turkey roasting in the oven, the Jello salad setting in the refrigerator, the homemade chocolate cheesecake baked by my friend Lorna, and For our precious neighbors Dee and Lucille who are more like family than neighbors. For Silverdale Assembly and the International Order of Rainbow for Girls which have allowed my daughters to be teenage girls while learning the importance For the Washington Council of the Blind and all its members, for allowing me to serve as one of its leaders and for truly being family to me. I've also For my job which allows me to work with young people who are visually impaired on a daily basis. To know I'm making a difference and to be able to help For will power and good food and drink that is low in callories which have allowed me to lose 50 pounds this year. I love my fat and sugar free lattes And for so many more blessings that I just don't have time to write down as company is now arriving. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. May you feel and know God's blessings today and every day. Hugs, Cindy & Geneva
