As always, God has shown His Faithfulness. He has provided us enough time to save up the extra money to buy a car, and someone to sell us a car for the exact amount of money we have on hand.
That's right, tonight, Amelia and I purchased a 1993 Ford Taurus for $1,000. We were able to pay cash. We were able to add compprehensive and collision coverage to our auto policy for an amount she and I can afford together.
Amelia used her graduation money which she'd hoped to purchase a laptop with and we saved up the rest.
The car is a 4 door, charcoal gray, automatic with power locks and windows. The car may be 12-years-old, but it's a nice car with a clean body; the cloth interior is in good shape too. We bought it from the original owner and all service records came along with it.
It won't be as roomy for the dogs as the van, but we'll be able to fit our family in it, both dogs included of course.
Most importantly, Amelia will now have her own transportation to and from work, and soon, to and from college.
